Mark Moses was born on January 24, 1958, in New York City. After attending Ithaca College for two years, he left to join a summer theater touring company. He later enrolled at New York University, graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in drama.

Stage and Screen Debut

Moses made his Broadway debut in 1982 in the Scottish play "Slab Boys" alongside Kevin Bacon and Sean Penn. In 1985, he made his prime-time television debut in the series "Big Shots in America."
