Early Life and Acting CareerMartha Byrne (Mary Martha Byrne) was born in 1969 in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She made her debut on stage at the age of ten on Broadway. In the early 1980s, Byrne began her acting career in films such as "Drop-Out Father", "The Eyes of the Amaryllis", and "Anna to the Infinite Power". During this time, she also pursued music and showcased her beautiful vocals.
Musical Career
Byrne's debut music album, simply titled "Martha Byrne", was released in 1997. By that time, she had already gained considerable fame as an actress. She released her second album, "Woman Thing Music", which faced controversy due to the sponsorship of cigarette company "Philip Morris". Byrne refused to have her album distributed with packs of cigarettes and ended her collaboration with the company. In 2006, her third album, "The Other Side", was released.

One of Byrne's most notable acting roles is Lily Walsh Snyder in the CBS soap opera "As the World Turns". She played this character from 1985 to 1989, and then returned to the show in 1993.
