Matthew Weston Goss, better known as Matt Goss, is a British pop singer who was born in London, UK in 1968. He is one of a pair of twins, with his brother Luke being born just 11 minutes before him. Both twins were born premature and struggled with their weight, but they grew up to be handsome young men, both standing over 180 cm tall.

Their parents divorced when the boys were five years old, and their mother remarried. Music was an early interest for the brothers, with Luke aspiring to become a drummer in a band and Matt demonstrating a good singing voice. When they formed their own band, the roles were already determined - Luke on drums and Matt as the lead vocalist.

Their major musical career began in the late 1980s as part of the band 'Bros.' Although the group never reached significant heights in the music industry, they released three albums and went on two successful world tours, gaining a dedicated fan base. After the band disbanded in the early 1990s, Matt embarked on his solo career and moved to America.

In 1995, he released his debut solo album, 'The Key', and three singles from the album received significant attention. During a trip to Italy in 1997, Goss met producer Joe T Vanelli, and this meeting led to the formation of the music group 'Co*Bra'. However, Matt left the group shortly after releasing their album 'One' and returned to Los Angeles.

Over the next few years, Goss worked on recording songs for films, collaborating with other artists, and accumulating material for a new album. During this time, he also wrote the soundtrack for the film 'Stuart Little' and a song called 'Carolyn' dedicated to his deceased sister. His album, titled 'Face The Wind', was never officially released.

In 2003, Goss made a comeback in the British music scene, embarking on a successful tour and receiving a warm welcome from his fellow countrymen. He released his first UK single in years, 'I'm Coming With Ya', which reached the 22nd position on the charts. In 2004, he released the highly anticipated album 'Early Side of Later', preceded by the single 'Fly'. The album's success led to another single release, 'I Need the Key'.

In March 2005, Goss published his autobiographical book, 'More Than You Know', actively promoting it. He participated in a charity concert in Canada in September 2006. His next album, which fans had been eagerly anticipating, was released in 2009, preceded by the free online release of his single 'Come Along For The Ride'.

In August, it was announced that Robin Antin, known for her work with the 'Pussycat Dolls', would become Goss's manager. His new album, titled 'GOSSY', was released on iTunes. Starting from September 2009, Goss began performing live shows in Las Vegas every Friday and Saturday at 'The Palms Casino Resort'.
