Natalia Bessarabovawas a renowned Russian writer, translator, and member of the Union of Writers of Moscow.
Early Life
Bessarabova was born into a literary family in Kharkov, Ukraine. Her father, Yakov Ivanovich Bessarab, was a deputy manager of the Council of People's Commissars. Her mother, Vera Terentyevna Drobantseva, was a writer and translator. Bessarabova's aunt, Konkordiya Terentyevna Landau-Drobantseva, was married to Nobel laureate Lev Landau.
Education and Career
Bessarabova graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Languages in 1955. She became a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR in 1976 and the Union of Writers of Moscow.
