Victor Izrailevich Geller was born into a military family and pursued his education at the Ryazan Pedagogical Institute's history faculty.

Preservation of Jewish History

In 1956, Geller played a crucial role in transporting the remains of Rabbi Mordechai Dubin from Tula to Riga. He also compiled the book-album "Tombs of Tzaddikim in Russia," documenting Jewish heritage.

Work in Publishing

Geller worked at the Israeli publishing house "Shamir." In 1990, he actively participated in the revival of Jewish life in Lviv, Ukraine.

Education and Leadership

From 1992 to 1995, Geller served as the rector of the Jewish University in Moscow, which he established. He also founded the publishing house "Gesharim-Mosty," which operates in both Israel and Russia, specializing in Judaica literature.
