Hungarian-American Violinist
Born in Hungary, the renowned violinist studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, graduating in 1935 as a student of Leo Weiner.
Emigration to the United States
In 1938, the violinist relocated to the United States, where he played the second violin in various chamber ensembles. This included a stint with one of the later iterations of the Lener Quartet.
Joining the Hungarian Quartet
In 1959, the violinist joined the illustrious Hungarian Quartet as its second violinist. He remained an integral member of the ensemble for the final 13 years of its existence.
