Early Life and Education
Mirren Mack was born on December 8, 1997, in Stirling, Scotland. Her father, Billy, was an actor, and her mother, Kallan, taught drama. Mack's younger sister, Molly, is also an actress.
Mack studied dance at the Scottish School of Musical Theatre before attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Theatre Career
Mack began her acting career on stage, performing in plays such as "The Seagull," "Twelfth Night," and "Bat Boy: The Musical."
Film and Television
Mack's debut television role was in the hit Netflix series "Sex Education" (2019-present), where she plays Florence, an open asexual high school student.
In 2020, Mack starred in the drama series "The Nest" as Kaya, a determined teenager who becomes a surrogate for a wealthy couple. The role earned her a BAFTA Scotland nomination.
Mack has also appeared in the Netflix prequel series "The Witcher: Blood Origin" (2022) and the short films "Blood Rites" and "The Painter and the Poet."
