Early Life and Football Beginnings

Moussa Wagué, the Senegalese defender, embarked on his football journey at the renowned Aspire Academy in Qatar. In 2017, he joined Belgian club Eupen through a partnership agreement between the academy and Eupen.

Club Career Debut

On January 21, 2017, Wagué made his debut in the Belgian Pro League in a match against Genk. Just a month later, on February 18, he scored his first goal for Eupen in a game against Kortrijk.

International Career

In 2015, Wagué represented Senegal's under-20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. He made seven appearances in the tournament, playing against Portugal, Colombia, Qatar, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Brazil, and Mali.

That same year, he participated in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal's Olympic team, hosting the tournament. He played in five matches, facing Tunisia, Zambia, Nigeria, and South Africa twice.

Senior Team Debut

On March 23, 2017, Wagué earned his senior international debut for Senegal in a friendly match against Nigeria. Since then, he has continued to represent his country on numerous occasions.
