Early Life and Education
Natalia Shelyagina was born on January 14, 1988, in Kyiv, Ukraine. The details of her family background are not publicly disclosed, but it is believed that her family was affluent. As a child, Shelyagina aspired to become an actress, but her parents did not share her enthusiasm. Nevertheless, her parents encouraged her creative pursuits, enrolling her in saxophone lessons and role-playing classes based on J.R.R. Tolkien's works.
From first through fifth grade, Shelyagina attended the prestigious Grand International Lyceum, one of the top private schools in Kyiv and ranked among the top five-star schools worldwide by the American Accreditation Committee, Ai. In 2000, she transferred to Kyiv Lyceum No. 100 "Podil." Concurrently, she began her acting career with the improvisational theater studio "Black Square."
After graduating from high school, Shelyagina pursued higher education at the Kyiv Institute of International Relations, graduating in 2010. As a university student, Shelyagina discontinued her involvement with the theater studio but maintained valuable connections. Through the wife of the studio director, she auditioned for various film projects. In 2011, she landed a role in the Ukrainian television series "Diaries of the Dark." The following year, she appeared in the comedy series "Bar "Duck." However, these roles did not fully satisfy her desire for larger and more prestigious projects.
In 2007, Shelyagina created her first personal YouTube channel, which did not gain significant traction. A year later, she became a product reviewer, specializing in electronic gadgets, for the online retailer Rozetka. She had previously met the cameraman who shot product review videos for the website at the studio of the Ukrainian television channel "TET."
Despite an unsuccessful trial video for the review of a smartphone, Shelyagina persisted. Six months later, she was hired by the editorial department of Rozetka to write news articles on gadgets. Initially, Shelyagina found the work uninspiring, but she decided to take another shot at creating a video review of Apple's newly released iPad mini. Despite minor technical flaws, her work impressed the management, and she was subsequently tasked with creating more gadget reviews.
Over time, Shelyagina's gadget reviews have amassed a dedicated following, with thousands of viewers tuning in daily, some of whom are solely interested in her personality. She branched out into vlogging on YouTube, creating videos about her cycling adventures and comparing burgers in Kyiv.
Personal Life and Leisure Pursuits

However, based on photos she shares on social media platforms like Instagram, it appears that she is either single or adept at concealing her relationships. At age 13, she encountered her first love at the fantasy forum "Tavern of the Damned" but has since opted to keep her romantic pursuits confidential. She has openly admitted to having a long-standing crush on Duncan MacLeod, a fictional character from the television series "Highlander."
