Early Life and Education
Born in Los Angeles, California, on October 5, 1983, Nicky Hilton is the daughter of Richard Hilton and Kathy Richards. She is the sister of socialite Paris Hilton, as well as brothers Nicholas Barron and Conrad.
Hilton's family moved frequently during her childhood before settling in New York City, where she attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart. She later studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design, though she did not complete her studies.
Fashion Career
In 2004, Hilton launched her clothing line, "CHICK," which gained her recognition. She subsequently met Japanese designer Samantha Thavasa at an event, who offered her a role as the head designer of her new handbag collection. Hilton worked for Thavasa for four years, honing her skills as a designer.
Over time, Hilton's own "CHICK" line gained international acclaim. The brand opened boutiques in both the United States and Europe.
Acting and Reality Television
Following in her sister's footsteps, Hilton has also ventured into acting. Her first film appearance was in "Wishman" in 1993, when she was a child. She later appeared in the television movie "Pauly Shore Is Dead" in 2003 and the comedy film "Pledge This" in 2006, alongside her sister.
Hilton was considered for the reality show "The Simple Life," but the role ultimately went to Nicole Richie.
Personal Life
Hilton has married three times, all of which ended in divorce. Her first marriage to MTV DJ Brian McFadden lasted from 2004 until early 2005. In the same year, she married Todd Andrew Meister, but their union was also short-lived. From January 2005 to June 2006, Hilton was in a relationship with actor Kevin Connolly. Since late 2006, she has been dating David Katzenberg.
