Early Career

Nicolás Douchez's footballing journey began with amateur club Olney-sous-Bois before he moved to Paris FC. In 1996, he joined the academy of Le Havre AC and signed his first professional contract with the club in 1999.

Professional Debut

Douchez made his professional debut with Châteauroux in 2003, serving as their primary goalkeeper during most of the season. He later joined Toulouse in 2004 and made his Ligue 1 debut for the club in 2006, following an injury to Christophe Revault.

Toulouse Success

After signing a new four-year contract with Toulouse, Douchez became a regular starter and helped the team secure a third-place finish in the 2006/07 Ligue 1 season.

Rennes and PSG

In 2008, Douchez moved to Rennes on a three-year contract, continuing his role as the first-choice goalkeeper. He joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2011 to fill the void left by the retiring Grégory Coupet.

International Recognition

Douchez received an international call-up to the French national team in 2009 as the fourth-choice goalkeeper.

Trophy Haul with PSG

During his time with PSG, Douchez won four Ligue 1 titles (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), six domestic cups (Coupe de la Ligue: 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16; Super Coupe de France: 2013, 2014; Coupe de France: 2014/15, 2015/16).
