Early CareerNicolás Laprovíttola is an Argentinian professional basketball player. Prior to the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship, he signed with Flamengo, where he won the 2014 FIBA Intercontinental Cup and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
Europe and the NBA
On August 2, 2015, Laprovíttola joined Lietuvos Rytas. However, he terminated his contract on December 31, 2015, and became a player for Estudiantes. He competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
On September 26, 2016, Laprovíttola signed with the San Antonio Spurs. He was waived on December 27, averaging 3.3 points and 1.6 assists in 18 games.
Return to Europe
On January 18, 2017, Laprovíttola joined Baskonia, where he played in 14 EuroLeague games, averaging 2.7 points and 0.9 rebounds. He signed with Zenit on July 7, 2017, and later moved to Real Madrid in 2019, where he has won multiple Supercopa de España titles.
