At the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis, Georgantas showcased his athleticism in two events. He earned a bronze medal in discus throw, a feat he accomplished despite initially competing in shot put but eventually withdrawing. In tug-of-war, Georgantas' team faced defeat in their opening match against their American counterparts.

Unofficial Athens Medals

The 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens provided a platform for Georgantas to shine once more. He claimed gold in stone throw and bagged two silver medals in discus throw (freestyle and Greek).
