Biography of Nora Adam
Nora Adam, a Russian singer and musician, has established herself as an active participant in various charitable projects. She has performed for single mothers and orphaned children, as well as in memory of those who lost their lives in Afghanistan and in support of those who lost their loved ones in Chechnya.

Early Musical Education
Nora began her musical journey at a music school, where she studied violin. After school, she enrolled in a music college to study the viola. Despite the viola being traditionally considered a male instrument, Nora mastered it at a commendable level.

Challenges and Career Development
After college, Nora planned to enter the St. Petersburg Conservatory to pursue studies in classical vocal music. However, she was unable to fulfill this plan as she did not pass the entrance audition due to her height, which was considered too short for the theatrical stage.
Undeterred by this setback, Nora enrolled in jazz and pop vocal courses offered by the same conservatory. She also independently explored vocal techniques, including extreme rock vocals.
Debut and Professional Growth
Nora Adam made her debut in 2000 in Moscow and continued to develop her skills and professionalism in the city. She not only performs solo concerts but has also collaborated with renowned Russian and international artists. She has shared the stage with bands like 'Eruption' and 'Hit Hunter', as well as artists like 'Super Max' and 'Europe'.
During one of her performances, Nora impressed Precious Wilson from 'Eruption' so much that Wilson gifted her a personalized microphone. Nora later sold this gift and used the proceeds to buy her own computer, which marked the beginning of her personal home music studio. She initially recorded her first hits there and now utilizes the services of a professional music studio in Moscow.
Recognition and Achievements
Nora Adam has received numerous prestigious music awards for her singing. In 2007, she achieved second place in the 'Golden Voices of the World' vocal competition held in Los Angeles. The prize-winning song, 'The Mistress of Sleep,' was included in the competition's compilation album.
In addition to her music career, Nora actively participates in various charitable projects. She has received the Silver Order of 'Mercy' from the philanthropic group 'Patrons of the Century' and a gold diploma from a benefactor.
Recent Projects
Nora Adam has been invited to participate in a documentary film about the life and professional career of Michael Jackson. The Russian film, 'Michael Jackson in My Heart,' will feature Nora playing her beloved viola and even performing a jazz version of one of Jackson's songs. Further details about Nora's role have not been disclosed.
Nora continues to tour regularly, both within Russia and internationally. In 2008, she was invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the 'Royal Club' in Madrid. She also had one of her compositions, 'Gotta Let It Go,' selected for the Russian qualifying round of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008.
While critics praised Nora's song, Russia ultimately selected Dima Bilan to represent the country in Eurovision, and Bilan went on to win the competition convincingly.
