Triumphs on the Asian Stage
In 2011, Zhumagaziyev made his mark at the Asian Winter Games in Almaty. He competed in the individual 1,000m and 1,500m races, as well as the 5,000m relay. In the relay, his team secured a bronze medal, while he placed seventh in the 1,000m event. However, his 1,500m race was marred by a fall by a Mongolian skater, which also led to Zhumagaziyev's tumble.
Olympic Endeavors
Zhumagaziyev's Olympic debut came at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He participated in the individual 500m race, where he finished 29th with a time of 42.680 seconds. In the 5,000m relay, he teamed up with his countrymen to achieve a commendable fifth place, setting a time of 6:54.630.
