Belarusian Animator: Vladimir Petkevich
Early Life and CareerBorn on November 16, 1945, in Slutsk, Belarus, Vladimir Petkevich graduated from the Belarusian State University in 1996. Before his university education, he worked as a literary staff member for the newspaper "Lіtaratura і Mastactsva" from 1968 to 1973.
Animation Career
Belarusfilm Animation Studio (1975-1989)Petkevich founded and became the artistic director of the animation workshop at the "Belarusfilm" film studio in 1975. He held this position until 1989, nurturing and guiding countless animated projects.
ABC Animation Studio (1989-1995)
Continuing his passion for animation, Petkevich established animation studios such as "ABC" from 1989 to 1995. These studios became renowned for their innovative and captivating animated content.
Later Career
Kadr-2 Film and Video Studio (1995-Present)From 1995 onward, Petkevich has served as Vice President of the "Kadr-2" film and video studio. He has also been an active member of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers, and the Belarusian Union of Artists.
