Childhood and Education
Born on June 9, 1982, Ozan Akbaba's childhood was surrounded by music and creativity. His sister, Bilgehan, pursued a musical path as an ethnomusician and music teacher. Despite his passion for acting, Akbaba initially studied interior architecture and environmental design at Akdeniz University in Antalya.
Early Career
Akbaba began his acting career in 2006, appearing in short films and the film "Broken Wings." He gained recognition in Turkish television series "Winds in the Head" and "Heavenly Mystery." In 2015, he joined the cast of "Mafia Can't Rule the World" and starred in the film "Delilik."
"Içerde" and "Good Doctor"
Akbaba's pivotal role came in the acclaimed series "Içerde," where he played Ilyas Çakırbeyli without ever having an audition. He later portrayed the enigmatic neurosurgeon Dr. Kemal Demir in the Turkish adaptation of the South Korean medical drama "Good Doctor."
Personal Life
