Early Life and Career
Born in Rosario, Argentina, Pablo Pérez began his football journey at Newell's Old Boys. On December 2, 2006, he made his professional debut in the Argentine Primera División against Godoy Cruz. A memorable moment in his early career was his hat-trick on May 26, 2007, against Estudiantes.
Ecuadorian Adventure
In 2009, Pérez embarked on a loan move to Ecuadorian club Emelec. His debut came on August 17 against Olmedo, followed by his first goal for the club on September 17 against ESPOLI.
Return to Argentina and European Stint
Upon returning to Argentina in 2010, Pérez played for Unión Santa Fe, where he made his debut on August 8 and scored a brace on December 11. In January 2014, he made the move to Spanish club Málaga, making his La Liga debut on January 17 against Valencia. His first goal for Málaga came on March 25 against Espanyol.
Success at Boca Juniors
In February 2015, Pérez joined Boca Juniors on loan. He quickly became a key player for the club, scoring his first goal on May 3 against River Plate. In September, Boca Juniors signed Pérez permanently, extending his contract until 2019. During his time with the club, he contributed to their championship victory in 2017.
International Career
Pérez earned his first cap for the Argentina national team on March 27, 2018, in a friendly against Spain, replacing Éver Banega in the second half.
