Biography of Patrick Muldoon

William Patrick Muldoon III, known as Patrick Muldoon, was born on September 27, 1968, in San Pedro, California. His mother, Dina, was a homemaker, and his father, William Patrick Muldoon II, worked as a personal injury attorney. Muldoon attended Loyola High School and then went on to the University of Southern California (USC), where he was a member of the student organization 'Sigma Chi' and played football for the USC Trojans.

Rise to Fame

Muldoon made his breakthrough in the acting industry by portraying Austin Reed in the television series 'Days of Our Lives' from 1992 to 1995. He also had a role as Jeffrey Hunter in the popular teen sitcom 'Saved by the Bell' in 1991. Muldoon's next significant role was playing the villain Richard Hart in the prime-time soap opera 'Melrose Place' from 1995 to 1996. He also portrayed Edmund in a stage production of William Shakespeare's tragedy 'King Lear' directed by Patsy Rodenburg.

Recent Projects

In 2009, Muldoon began preparing for the filming of the drama 'K-11', directed by Jules Mann-Stewart and featuring Kristen Stewart. The film tells the story of a section of a Los Angeles jail called K-11, which is used for homosexual, transgender, and HIV-infected inmates. The screenplay was based on a real story from the 2004 Los Angeles Times. Muldoon's recent acting achievements include completing the filming of the dramedy 'Back to the Sea,' voicing a character in the animated film 'Noah's Ark: The New Beginning,' and starring in the thriller 'Last Will.' All three projects, as well as 'K-11,' are set to be released in 2010.
