Exploring Different Paths

Before fully committing to poker, Antonius dabbled in various fields. He worked as a model, waiter, traveling salesman, tennis coach, and even attempted to study business. Failing to find success in any of these endeavors, Antonius returned to what he excelled at - poker.

For a period, Antonius exclusively played poker in his home country, frequently seen at poker games throughout Finland. He later traveled to the United States on a tennis scholarship, all while continuing to play poker online. After finishing the semester, Antonius visited Las Vegas, Nevada, where he confirmed his talent for poker.

Continuing his online endeavors, Antonius increased his assets and began participating in major tournaments in 2005. Later, he relocated to Monte Carlo with his family, including his wife Maya Geller and their two children. In November 2009, Antonius achieved a significant milestone by winning the largest online poker pot in history - $1,356,946 - against Viktor Blom.
