Biography of Paul Gerald Cattermole

Paul Gerald Cattermole, an English musician, was born on March 7, 1977, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. Initially, Cattermole dreamed of becoming a rugby star. Like Hannah Spearritt, another member of 'S Club 7', Paul was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and performed in 'Pendragon' in 1994. Cattermole also performed duets with Emma Bunton in college productions, who later became a member of the 'Spice Girls'. One of his teachers, recalling his student, said that Paul was a quiet student and did not show any obvious star qualities, but after working with Emma, it became clear that he had potential for more.

Early Career

Before joining 'S Club 7', Cattermole worked as a newspaper delivery person, butcher, theater usher, garbage collector, and toilet cleaner. He attended theater and acting courses at Mountview Drama School. Cattermole was the frontman of the nu-metal band 'Skua', which he formed with his friends in the early 1990s. He was noticed by producer Simon Fuller, who invited him to audition for 'S Club 7'. The musician became one of the actors in the group's TV series, including 'Miami 7', 'L.A. 7', 'Hollywood 7', and the first four episodes of 'Viva S Club'. He participated in two British concert tours with 'S Club 7', and in October 2001, Spearritt announced that they had been dating for the past six months.

Post-'S Club 7' Career

After leaving 'S Club 7' in June 2002, performing in several 'Skua' concerts, and participating in a few recording sessions, Cattermole formed a new rock band called 'Charlie Bullitt' due to the breakdown of the nu-metal band. In 2005, the band mostly played in clubs and pubs in London, Brighton, and Aberdeen, but did not achieve significant success, leading to Cattermole's departure from the band in October. In 2003, the musician worked as a drummer for the English indie rock band 'Shed 7'. In 2006, he stated that English footballer Lee Cattermole from 'Sunderland' was his cousin. Around the same time, he broke up with Hannah Spearritt.
