Peter Doocy is an American journalist and a White House correspondent for Fox News. He is the eldest son of Steve Doocy, who is a co-host of the Fox & Friends morning show, and Kathy Gerrity.
Education and Early Career
Doocy graduated from Villanova University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. During his college years, he served as a reporter for Fox News' Palestra.net.

Joining Fox News (2009)Doocy joined Fox News in 2009 after graduating college. He spent time in New York City and Chicago before moving to Washington, D.C. in 2010.

In 2014, Doocy secured an exclusive television interview with former Navy SEAL Robert J. O'Neill, who claims to have fired the shot that killed Osama bin Laden. The special aired to reportedly record-breaking ratings, becoming the highest-rated documentary in Fox News history.

With his voice lowered and his face partially turned away from a hot microphone beneath him, Biden reportedly replied sarcastically, "It's a great asset—more inflation." He then shook his head and added, "What a stupid son of a b." Biden later called Doocy to clarify the situation within an hour. According to Doocy, Biden said, "It's nothing personal, pal."
Personal Life
In April 2021, Doocy married Hilary Vaughn, a Fox Business correspondent. The couple welcomed their first child on February 1, 2023.
