Biography of Pyotr Vladimirovich Brazhnikov
Early LifeBorn in 1917 in the village of Troitskoye, Karasunsky Uyezd (now Inzensky District, Ulyanovsk Oblast), Pyotr Vladimirovich Brazhnikov was a Russian national.
Military Career
In 1941, Brazhnikov was conscripted to the front by the Inza District Military Commissariat. He served as a Red Army soldier in the 9th Guards Mechanized Brigade. His bravery and combat contributions earned him several medals.
Wartime Service and Death
During the war, Brazhnikov displayed exceptional valor and sacrifice. He was tragically killed in action on February 15, 1943, due to severe injuries sustained during battle.
Burial and Legacy
Brazhnikov's remains were laid to rest in a civilian cemetery in the Orlovskaya village of Orlovsky District, Rostov Oblast, in grave number 21. His name and memory continue to be honored as a testament to the courage and sacrifice of the Soviet Red Army during the Great Patriotic War.
