Epic Poetry
Kanavelić's epic works include the renowned "Ivan Trogirski i kralj Koloman," published in 1858. This epic poem celebrates the legendary Siege of Trogir, led by the brave Croatian warrior Ivan Trogirski against the Hungarian King Koloman.
Dramatic Works
Kanavelić also wrote extensively for the theater. One of his most well-known plays, "Muka na?ego gospodina Isusa," was performed in Dubrovnik in 1663. This religious drama depicts the Passion of Jesus Christ and remains an important work in Croatian literature.
