Reggie Strickland, an American boxer, is known for having one of the worst boxing records in history. With a total of 363 fights, he has lost 276, making him the Worst Boxer in the World. Despite this, Reggie always entered the ring with hope and belief in himself.
Biography of Reggie Strickland
Reggie Strickland was born in 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He began his professional boxing career in 1987, and from the very beginning, Reggie started losing. Despite being defeated time and time again, he never gave up and continued to step into the ring with renewed determination.
Many notable boxers, such as Tavoris Cloud, Randall Bailey, Cory Spinks, and Raul Marquez, were able to defeat Reggie. His staggering number of defeats, 276, earned him the title of record holder, or even anti-record holder, for the most losses in boxing history.
Reggie was known for not sparing himself, sometimes participating in up to 15 fights per month during the early stages of his career. Although he occasionally achieved rare victories against weaker opponents, he mainly suffered defeat. However, this never deterred him from continuing his matches.
Interestingly, Reggie's family also experienced the same misfortune in the boxing ring. His brother, Jerry Strickland, lost 100 out of 112 fights, and his wife, who also pursued a professional boxing career, lost 28 out of 30 fights. Even his cousins and nephew, who were also boxers, experienced defeat. Nevertheless, all members of the Strickland family persistently continued to step into the ring, despite being consistently beaten.
