Biography of Richard Lambourn

Richard Lambourn is an American volleyball player and a member of the American national volleyball team. He was born on May 6, 1975, in Colorado Springs, USA, to parents Paul and Ann. Richard grew up in California and attended middle school there. When he was six years old, Richard was involved in an accident that severely injured his face. Despite this tragedy, with medical intervention and the support of his parents, he was able to overcome the trauma. Today, he considers himself unattractive based on the physical consequences of the accident.

At first, volleyball was not Richard's only favorite sport. He also enjoyed playing golf, beach volleyball, and tennis. In addition to sports, Richard had many other hobbies in his life, such as reading. However, Richard turned out to be a talented athlete. In 1999, as a member of the men's volleyball team and as an attacker, he participated in the NCAA competition and emerged victorious. Since then, Richard has competed multiple times, showcasing his skills and abilities.

Richard has achieved numerous accolades throughout his volleyball career. He won the gold medal at the NORCECA Continental Championships, America's Cup, FIVB World Championship Qualifying Tournament, Pan American Cup, and NORCECA Continental Olympic Qualifying Championship-2008. He also won the silver medal at the World Grand Champions Cup and Pan American Games. Furthermore, Richard has won gold medals in the FIVB World League and Olympic Games.
