American, Photographer, and Website Creator
Richelle Jones, an American, is a photographer and website creator living in New York City. For many years, she dedicated herself entirely to raising her only son, nurturing his artistic talents and supporting his dreams. When her son was accepted into an art school in New York, Richelle moved with him without hesitation, ensuring he had a happy and fulfilling life. Throughout this time, she never thought about her own career, content with occasional jobs to make ends meet.

A New Beginning
However, as her son began his studies, Richelle suddenly found herself with a lot of free time. It was then that she realized she had lost herself in being a mother and had forgotten about her own hopes and ambitions. Realizing that her fifties were the perfect time for a fresh start, Richelle decided to live her life for herself this time.

Discovering Passions
She started by asking herself, "What do I love doing?" Richelle discovered that she had a passion for photography, website design, and a love for desserts and sweets. Taking action, she enrolled in photography and web design courses, learning the basics and creating her own website to showcase her photographs. She also indulged her passion for desserts, cooking, photographing, and sharing her creations online.

A Cafe and Beyond
Richelle quickly gained a following and like-minded individuals who appreciated her work. Today, she is preparing to open her own cafe, where she can share her delicious desserts and continue to pursue her artistic passions. Despite being almost sixty years old, Richelle looks incredibly stylish with her critically short haircut and diverse wardrobe, ranging from cocktail dresses to leather pants.
Living for Herself
When Richelle reflects on her journey, she believes that she took action for herself ultimately for the sake of her son. She realized that the best way to "let him go" was to focus on herself. Otherwise, she would have clung to him, potentially exhausting him with her constant presence. Now, Richelle fully embraces her independence and finds joy in taking care of herself, whether it's walking, daily fitness routines, shopping for herself, or enjoying the company of friends.
A Story of Inspiration
Richelle never considered herself a strong woman; she simply did what she believed was necessary, first raising her son and then wholeheartedly investing in herself. However, her friends and acquaintances are in awe of her. Richelle has demonstrated with simplicity and grace that life does not just continue after fifty but can begin anew.
