Rio Ferdinand is an English footballer, known as a central defender. He was born on July 22, 1978, in South East London, England, and is the first child of Julian and Janice. He started his professional career with West Ham United and later played for Leeds United and Manchester United.

Early Life and Career

Rio Ferdinand showed a passion for sports from a young age. In school, he excelled in subjects such as drama, athletics, and gymnastics.
