Introduction
Rohit Pande is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Classteacher Learning Systems, a leading education company in India. He was born on December 26, 1973, in New Delhi, India.

Education and Early Career
Rohit Pande earned his bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi (IIT Delhi) and his Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta (IIM Calcutta). Before founding Classteacher Learning Systems in 2000, Pande worked for a couple of years at Accenture, one of the world's largest consulting firms, in India. It was during this time that his entrepreneurial career began to take shape.
Founding Classteacher Learning Systems
When Pande started Classteacher Learning Systems, digital interactive teaching and learning were just beginning to take shape and be implemented. He saw education as an untapped market segment with immense potential. The initial idea behind Classteacher Learning Systems was to improve the quality of education and make it more personalized for each child. However, Pande soon realized that bridging the gap between education and technology would help his business thrive and reach new levels.
Classpad and Personalized Learning
Rohit Pande actively participated in the development of various teaching programs and educational paradigms, including language immersion, scientific programs, simulations, and personalized learning courses. In the later stages of Classteacher Learning Systems, Pande enthusiastically embraced the concept of Classpad, which involved using a tablet for personalized and interactive learning. The launch of the Classpad project marked a transition to the next level of innovation in personalized pedagogical structures and new applications aimed at improving the teaching skills of educators and enhancing students' learning experiences.
Impact and Recognition
The Classpad program was initiated at Pande's alma mater, the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. With its individualized approach to each student, education became more accessible, regardless of the initial level of intelligence and talent. Teachers now conduct classroom activities using tablets, and students have the opportunity to instantly engage with the topics being discussed, take tests, and receive immediate results. This shift in pedagogy allows for quick adjustments and interventions to help students improve their grades and knowledge.
Rohit Pande was invited as one of the key speakers at the VCCircle Education Investment Summit in 2011. The summit brought together over 200 entrepreneurs from the education sector, private investors, and bankers. The main goal of the event was to discuss the further development of Indian education as an ecosystem.
