The Genesis of "Sanitarniy Den"
Humble BeginningsThe origins of the rock band "Sanitarniy Den" can be traced back to March-April 2003. Three musicians with diverse musical backgrounds—Tsinik, DyNK, and Drumworker (DW)—connected through the internet, forming the initial nucleus of the group. Along with them came Max, a skilled bassist introduced by DW.
Early Setbacks and Triumphs
However, fate had other plans in store. DуNK's demanding work schedule forced him to leave the band, and Max soon followed suit due to similar circumstances. Undeterred, Tsinik and DW embarked on a search for new members. After several trial-and-error collaborations, Tsinik made a bold decision: he would master the bass guitar himself in record time.
The Reunion and Stabilization
In September 2003, DуNK, having resolved his professional challenges and finding himself newly married, contacted DW. To his astonishment, a vacant guitar position awaited him. With his return, the band finally achieved a stable lineup consisting of Tsinik, DyNK, and DW.
Embracing the Name
"Sanitarniy Den" (Sanitation Day) became the band's name after a random lottery-like drawing using a metro token. It served as a playful yet poignant symbol of their perseverance in the face of setbacks.
