Biography: Sarah Underwood
Sarah Jean Underwood was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1984. After high school, Underwood attended Oregon State University and later Portland State University. During her time at university, she became friends with quarterback Derek Anderson. After entering adult life, Underwood worked as a sales assistant for heavy construction equipment and then at a restaurant chain called 'Hooters' in Beaverton, Oregon.
Playboy Career
In October 2005, Underwood appeared in Playboy magazine for the first time, wearing bikini panties while her nude body was painted to resemble the t-shirt of the 'Oregon State Beavers' club from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). She later became the Playboy Playmate of the Month in July 2006 and Playmate of the Year in 2007. In June 2007, she was awarded a convertible Mini Cooper as a prize for being named Playmate of the Year, making her the first Miss July to win the coveted title.
Acting Career
Underwood made appearances in the TV series 'The Girls Next Door' and played herself, the Playboy Playmate of the Year 2007, hoping for a chance to participate in a photoshoot at the Playboy Studio West in Santa Monica, California. She also appeared in several episodes of the series. In 2007, Underwood played the role of a "pirate wench" in the comedy film 'Epic Movie' alongside Qiana Chase, Irina Voronina, and Jillian Grace. She then portrayed herself in the comedy film 'The House Bunny' in 2008, starring alongside Anna Faris and Emma Stone.
Other Ventures
In addition to her modeling and acting career, Underwood participated in the TV show 'Kendra' where it was announced during Kendra Wilkinson's bachelorette party that Underwood had undergone breast augmentation surgery. She confirmed this on 'The Howard Stern Show', admitting to having breast implants. Underwood also competed in the eighth 'Kunoichi' competition, a women's obstacle course competition known as 'Women of Ninja Warrior' in the United States.
