Early Life and Education- Born on October 21, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame
Military Career
- Enlisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1982- Completed flight training and commissioned as a naval aviator in 1984
- Graduated from the Navy Fighter Weapons School (NFWS) and earned a Master of Science degree in Resource Strategy from the National Defense University
