Biography of Scott Steiner
Scott Carl Rechsteiner, known professionally as Scott Steiner, is an American professional wrestler. He was born on June 29, 1962. Steiner gained popularity through his matches in the World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he competed alongside his older brother, Rick, as part of the Steiner Brothers tag team and as a member of the New World Order.

Early Career:
Steiner began his wrestling career shortly after finishing school. Rumors suggest that he initially trained under Original Sheik, but in reality, he was trained by Dr. Jerry Graham Jr. at Torio's Health Club in Toledo, Ohio. He made his debut in the Ohio branch of the World Wrestling Association (WWA) in Toledo in 1986 under the ring name "Scott Rexsteiner."

Championship Success:
On August 14, 1986, Steiner defeated "The Great Wojciechowski" Greg Wojciechowski in a match in Dearborn, Michigan, becoming the WWA World Heavyweight Champion. However, he lost the title on May 3, 1987, to Wojciechowski. Steiner then formed a team with his former trainer, Dr. Jerry Graham, and they won the WWA Tag Team Championship on October 6, 1987. They lost the title two months later but regained it briefly on February 18, 1989, before losing it again.

Steiner Brothers and WCW:
After leaving the WWA, Steiner formed a new tag team, the Steiner Brothers, with his older brother Rick. From 1988 to 1992, they competed under Jim Crockett Promotions and had several successful tag team matches, winning the World Tag Team Championship multiple times. In November 1992, they joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), where they continued their success. They left WWF in 1994 and joined Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) briefly before returning to WCW in 1996. They won the WCW World Tag Team Championship again but lost it shortly after.
New World Order and Later Career:
Steiner joined the New World Order and engaged in a storyline rivalry with the Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash), who had taken the tag team titles from Harlem Heat. In late 1997, Steiner began transitioning into a villainous character and continued wrestling with various promotions, including World Wrestling All-Stars and independent circuits. He eventually settled in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), now known as Impact Wrestling, where he continues to compete.
Achievements:
Throughout his career, Steiner has achieved notable success, including becoming a two-time World Champion (WCW and WWA) and a two-time WCW Television Champion. He also won the World Tag Team Championship with his brother Rick on multiple occasions.
Currently, Scott Steiner remains an active wrestler in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, showcasing his skills and experience in the ring.
