Sergei Bubka Jr.: Ukrainian Tennis Star
Sergei Bubka Jr. is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. He is a member of the Ukrainian Davis Cup team. Bubka's father is legendary Soviet pole vaulter Sergey Bubka. His older brother, Vitaliy Bubka, also played professional tennis.

Early Career and Junior Success
Bubka began playing tennis at the age of seven. He showed great promise during his junior career, reaching a world ranking of No. 4. In 2005, he reached the final of the Roland Garros junior tournament and the semi-finals of the Australian Open and Wimbledon junior tournaments in 2004.
Professional Career
Bubka turned professional in 2005. He has won over $376,000 in prize money. His highest world ranking was No. 145 in November 2011. Bubka's biggest success to date was his victory over Croatian Ivan Ljubičić in the first round of the 2011 Dubai Tennis Championships.
Coaching and Relationships
Bubka has been trained by Tibor Toth and Olivier Morel. Since March 2012, he has been dating Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka, the former world No. 1.
Physical Attributes
Bubka is 6'2" (188 cm) tall and weighs 194 lbs (88 kg). He is right-handed and uses a two-handed backhand.
Accident in Paris
On November 1, 2012, Bubka fell from a third-story window in Paris. He was trapped in a bathroom during a party and attempted to climb out the window to reach another room but fell. He was hospitalized with multiple fractures.
