Alagaty's literary career took flight in 1996 with the publication of his debut short story, "Vnutrenniy Golos" ("Inner Voice"). The year 1998 marked a turning point when he attended a convention of science fiction writers in Yekaterinburg, igniting his passion for organizing a club for fantastika enthusiasts in his hometown.

Nart: A Literary Haven

Inspired by Igor Khalymbadzha, a legend in the Russian fan community, Alagaty founded the Club of Fantasy Lovers (CLF) "Nart" in Vladikavkaz. This platform became a hub for Ossetian and Russian writers alike. The club eventually evolved into the publishing house of the fantastika journal, "Ardoz."
