Biography of Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as a forward for the club "Espanyol". He was born in Barcelona, where he developed his passion for football. Garcia started his career with the youth teams of "Barcelona" and later spent two seasons with their affiliate club, where he showcased his high-scoring ability, scoring 34 goals in 59 matches in the third division of Spanish football.

However, his opportunities with the senior team of Barcelona were limited, as he only played four matches in the 2003/04 season before leaving the club. In the 2004/05 season, Garcia joined "Levante", an underdog team in La Liga, and became a regular member of their starting lineup. After that, he spent three seasons playing for "Real Zaragoza", but left the club after their relegation from La Liga in the 2007/08 season. Garcia then moved to "Real Betis", but unfortunately, they also faced relegation in the following season.

Garcia has represented various Spanish youth teams and achieved several successes. He has also played two matches for the senior national team, including one in the victorious UEFA Euro 2008 against Greece. On December 28, 2010, while playing for the Catalonia national team, Garcia scored a goal against Honduras in the 49th minute, securing a 1-1 draw.

Currently, Garcia continues to showcase his skills and contribute to the success of his club, Espanyol.
