Junior YearsSimona Halep, a Romanian tennis player, showed promise from a young age. At just 13 years old, she played her first tournament among older juniors and gradually rose through the ranks. In 2009, Halep made the decision to undergo breast reduction surgery in order to further her tennis career. The successful operation took place in July of that year. On September 15, 2021, in the Romanian city of Mamaia, she married 42-year-old Aromanian businessman Toni Iuruc.
