The Victim of an Incompetent Tattoo Artist

There are people who dream of getting a tattoo, but are deterred by the fact that removing a tattoo in the future will be at least troublesome. No matter how interesting a certain pattern may look now, it can become boring to you in the future; no matter what a certain name means to you today, tomorrow you may want to forget it. But even if you have firmly chosen a design and are absolutely sure that you will never be disappointed in it, an unpleasant surprise may await you, much sooner than you expect.

Siobhan Fields Biography

Scottish woman Siobhan Fields is a long-time and avid fan of Marilyn Monroe. She decided to immortalize the image of the iconic actress on her shoulder. Siobhan planned to realize her idea with the help of tattoo artist Dave Stewart, whose work she found on Facebook and was satisfied with its quality. However, Siobhan became suspicious when Dave mentioned that he would be working at her home. Nevertheless, she did not back down from her plan; Dave received a photo of the design, assured her that he would "copy" it onto her shoulder without any problems, and started the process.

The tattooing process took one and a half hours, during which time Siobhan kept her eyes closed as she found the pain unbearable. Ninety minutes later, Siobhan opened her eyes and immediately regretted it. The legendary sex symbol, as depicted by Dave, turned into a childish-looking, unrecognizable drawing of a woman – a blot instead of sensual lips, two dots instead of a seductive gaze. Siobhan wanted to voice her complaint right away, but something made her stay silent – the "artist" looked too terrifying.

After Dave left Siobhan's apartment, taking £50 as a fee, she gathered the courage to express her dissatisfaction through Facebook. At first, Dave seemed willing to compromise and even promised to refund her money. However, he later cut off all communication with her. Now, the incompetent tattoo artist will have to deal with the police; it has already been revealed that he worked without permission, and Siobhan is not his first victim of his botched work. The fact that fixing the horrific tattoo will not be easy adds to the horror – Siobhan has already found out that the easiest solution is to get a new design on top, which will, of course, cost her around $500. For now, Siobhan is wearing long-sleeved shirts and curses the day she decided to get involved with tattoos.
