Biography of Skyler Stone

Skyler Stone, born Skyler Klipner on January 1, 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, is an American actor. He gained the most recognition for his starring role in the comedic television series "Con" on Comedy Central, which aired for two months in the spring of 2005. Stone came up with the concept for the pilot episode of "Con," where he portrayed one of the contestants on a popular music reality show and convinced the San Francisco Giants, a major league baseball team, to let him sing the national anthem.

Early Career

Stone began his career in radio at 107.7 WRKR The Rocker in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Coincidentally, he started his acting career in the role of Don, a sleazy morning radio show host, in Christopher Guest's comedy film "For Your Consideration." Guest discovered Stone after seeing an episode titled "Cancun Coma" from the "Con" series.

Stand-Up Comedy

On January 3, 2007, Stone made his debut as a national representative of stand-up comedy on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
