Biography of Sogdiana

Sogdiana, whose real name is Oksana Nechitaylo, was born on February 17, 1984, in Tashkent. From a young age, she loved putting on concerts for her parents, singing, dancing, and reciting poetry. She showed a particular talent for music and began her education at the Republican Special Music Boarding School named after V. Uspensky, studying piano.

During her studies, Sogdiana participated in the Republican Competition of Young Pianists and became a laureate in 1998. In 1999, she started singing and achieved significant success. She became a laureate of the television festival of professional performers, "Sado-99" (1999, Tashkent, Uzbekistan), and released her first solo album, "My Soul" (2001, Tashkent, Uzbekistan).

Sogdiana continued to garner recognition and became a laureate of the first Republican Competition of Pop Singers, "Melodies of My Land" (2002, Tashkent, Uzbekistan), and the international competition of pop singers, "Path to the Stars" (2003, St. Petersburg, Russia). She has also participated in many government concerts and festivals.

Her repertoire is diverse, including songs from international pop music, Uzbek folk songs, and her own compositions. She sings in Uzbek, Russian, English, and French. Her first album consisted of six songs, all composed by the singer.

Currently, Oksana Nechitaylo is a second-year student majoring in pop singing at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. She considers her distinctive feature to be her Eastern charm and hopes to conquer the hearts of audiences throughout Russia. Despite considering her decision to audition for "Fabrika" as the craziest thing she has done, Sogdiana is confident that she deserves a place on the pop scene and wants to share her songs with listeners. Her motto is "Forward! To the stars!"
