Stanislav Klymenko: A Ukrainian Kickboxing Champion

Early Life and Education

Stanislav Klymenko was born on July 25, 1990, in Nershensky Zavod, Russia. He moved to Ukraine a year later and attended Secondary School No. 103 in Odessa. After graduating, he enrolled at the Odessa Academy of Food Technologies, majoring in Ecological Management.

Football Career

Klymenko began his sporting journey with football in 2001. He played for FC Kurcha and the Bolgrad District team from 2001 to 2004. From 2005 to 2008, he represented FC Olimp in Odessa.

Transition to Kickboxing

In 2008, Klymenko joined the Kaplan club (Lokomotiv) in Odessa and began training in Thai boxing under the guidance of Honored Coach Pavel Batrin. Under Batrin's tutelage, he achieved numerous podium finishes in Ukrainian championships and cups.

Professional Debut

Klymenko made his professional debut in 2010 in Ivano-Frankivsk. After an amateur Thai boxing tournament, a professional event was held, and a fighter was unable to compete. Klymenko stepped up on short notice and faced an experienced opponent, a World Champion and Master of Sports. Despite the odds, Klymenko emerged victorious via a points decision.

International Training and Competition

Following his Ukrainian Championship victory, Artur Kyshenko invited Klymenko to join his "Kyshenko Team" in the Netherlands. He moved to Amsterdam in early 2012 and trained at "Mike's Gym" and "Kyshenko Team" under the direction of legendary coach Mike Passenier, known as "Big Mike" in combat sports.

In 2013, Klymenko moved to Moscow to train at the prestigious "Club of Combat Sports No. 1." Since then, he has been coached by Maksim Baskakov.

Present Status

Klymenko remains an active professional fighter, competing at the highest level.
