Biography of Stéphane Rolland
Stéphane Rolland is a French fashion designer who is known for his innovative and elegant designs. He studied fashion at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where his talent quickly became evident. At the age of 20, Rolland caught the attention of agents from the prestigious fashion house of Cristóbal Balenciaga. He was hired to work on menswear collections and within a year, he was promoted to creative director.
Throughout his career, Rolland has lived in various countries, including France, Argentina, and India. However, he found his true calling in Paris. In addition to his work in fashion, Rolland also pursued his passion for cinema and theater and became a costume designer. His work in this field earned him a nomination for the prestigious Molière Award in 2006 and 2007. He also became an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival.
While gaining recognition as a designer of prêt-à-porter fashion, Rolland decided to venture into haute couture. He began working at Jean-Louis Scherrer and at the age of 30, he became the youngest French couturier. However, Rolland's ambition didn't stop there. He dreamed of creating something new and unique in the constantly evolving fashion industry. After working under Jean-Louis Scherrer for only 10 years, Rolland opened his own fashion house, "The House of Stéphane Rolland."
The new fashion house is located at 10 Avenue George V in Paris. Rolland presented his first haute couture collection on July 2, 2007, which was met with great acclaim. Since then, he continues to impress his fans with his innovative designs. Some of his notable clients include Mireille Mathieu, Beyonce Knowles, and Carole Bouquet. Stéphane Rolland's creations are known for their elegance, sophistication, and attention to detail, making him one of the most respected and sought-after designers in the fashion industry.
