Early Life and Playing Career
Zoran Kuzmanovski was born in Yugoslavia and began his football career in the youth and junior teams of his country. As a defender, he played for various clubs in Yugoslavia until 1991, including Partizan Belgrade, where he achieved success in the 1982/83 season as a Yugoslav Champion and Cup winner. He then spent five years playing for Turkish clubs, before returning to the former Yugoslavia in 1997 and retiring in 2000.
Coaching Career
Kuzmanovski's coaching career commenced in 2000 at Stremska, based in Mitrovica. In 2003, he became assistant coach at OFK Belgrade and led the team as coach three years later. He then moved to Bulgaria to manage Belasitsa Petrich.
Tenure at Banants
In December 2009, Kuzmanovski signed with Banants FC in Yerevan, Armenia. Under his guidance, the team reached the final of the Armenian Cup but was defeated by Pyunik, the reigning Armenian champions. Banants also suffered a loss to Pyunik in the Supercup and eventually conceded the Armenian Premier League title to the same opponent after a close race. These disappointing results led to Kuzmanovski's dismissal from the club.
