Susan Isaacs is an American writer and screenwriter, born in Brooklyn, New York. She received her education at Queens College and worked as an editor for the magazine "Seventeen". She married Elkan Abramowitz, a lawyer. From 1968 to 1970, she took a break from work to take care of her newborn son Andrew. Three years later, in 1973, she gave birth to her daughter Elizabeth. During this time, she worked as a freelance writer, writing magazine articles and political pieces. She currently resides with her husband in Long Island.
