Biography of Svetlana Krylova

Svetlana Krylova is a Ukrainian philosopher, writer, and psychoanalyst. She is a Doctor of Philosophy, a professor, and the head of the Department of Philosophical Anthropology at the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University. She is the wife of the philosopher and writer Nazip Khamitov. In collaboration with Nazip Khamitov, she has written philosophical novels such as "The Secret of the Hobbit" and "The Magic Book" under the pseudonyms "Nez and Lana Svetlye". The novel-inspired film "The Magic Book" was directed by the Universe of Svetlaya in 2010.

Krylova obtained her Candidate of Philosophy degree in 1997 with a dissertation on the ethical-existential problem of personal immortality. In 2000, she received the title of associate professor. From 2007 to 2012, she served as the head of the Department of Social Disciplines at the Academy of Municipal Management. From 2012 to 2014, she was the head of the Department of Sociology at the same university. She is the Vice President of the Association of Philosophical Art since 2007. In 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation on social philosophy and the philosophy of history, focusing on the topic of "Beauty as a Phenomenon of the Social Existence of Human Beings (Sociocultural and Gender Aspects)".

In 2014, Krylova was awarded the title of professor. Since 2014, she has been the head of the Department of Philosophical Anthropology at the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University.

Krylova is the creator of the field of "social metaanthropology," which applies the main principles of metaanthropology as a theory of ordinary, extreme, and transcendent existence of human beings to society. Social metaanthropology explores the possibilities of social systems going beyond the boundaries of ordinariness into extreme and transcendent dimensions, enabling the understanding and analysis of social processes during periods of crises and transformations, and making productive futurological forecasts. She is the organizer of the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Department of Philosophical Anthropology at the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University. She is also a co-organizer and active participant in the methodological seminar "Philosophical Anthropology as Metaanthropology" at the G. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her areas of expertise include philosophical anthropology, metaanthropology, postanthropology, social metaanthropology, social philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of education, philosophy of psychoanalysis, philosophy of existence, philosophy of gender, and androgynous analysis.

Krylova's research focuses on the phenomenon of personal immortality as an ethical-existential problem, sociocultural and gender aspects of the beauty phenomenon in the social existence of human beings, and psychoanalytic and existential foundations of male and female relationships.

In addition to her academic work, Krylova has also pursued literary and artistic endeavors. In collaboration with Nazip Khamitov, she has written philosophical novels such as "The Secret of the Hobbit" and "The Magic Book" under the pseudonyms "Nez and Lana Svetlye". The novel-inspired film "The Magic Book" was directed by the Universe of Svetlaya in 2010. Since 2002, she has been the author and host of the popular philosophical program "Personality and Destiny" on Radio Era-FM. The program has featured notable guests such as Nazip Khamitov, Anna Turchinova, Angelica Reznik, and Victor Malakhov.

Krylova has also been a guest on various radio and television programs, including "Freedom of Thought with Nazip Khamitov," "Art of Life," "Night Reflections" (Teleanal CК), "Philosophical Dialogues" (Radio Era-FM), "Controversy" (Radio Studio "Maidan"), "Success," "Everything for Women, Everything about Women" (Ukrainian Radio "Culture"), and others.
