Tatiana Ivanova Zhukova-Kitbaya was born on October 24, 1939, in Moscow, Russia. In her youth, she was known for her outspokenness and rebellious spirit. Her passion for justice led her to become an active member of the Pioneer movement.
Initiation into Acting
Zhukova's competitive spirit was evident when she participated in a recitation contest. Her performance caught the attention of Vasily Lanonov, a renowned actor from the prestigious Shtein Studio. Under his guidance, Zhukova's talent was honed, and she was invited to join the studio.
Education and Early Career

The "Red Torch" Theater
In 1962, Zhukova and her husband, Stasik Savich, accepted a teaching assignment in Novosibirsk. A series of fortunate events led her to the highly acclaimed Krasny Fakel Theater, where she performed alongside legendary actors such as Mikhail Ulyanov, Oleg Dal, and Nona Mordyukova.
Return to Moscow
Zhukova's independent nature and outspokenness sometimes clashed with the theater's established norms. Personal and professional challenges led her to return to Moscow with her daughter.
Connection with Vladimir Vysotsky
Upon her return, Zhukova joined the Taganka Theater under the direction of Yuri Lyubimov. A crucial moment in her career came when she befriended Vladimir Vysotsky, a renowned Russian singer-songwriter and actor.
