Early Life and Education

Natalya Arinbasarova was born on March 27, 1941, in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. At the young age of 23, she graduated from the Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television in Ukraine.

Theatrical Career

From 1964 to 1967, Natalya served as an actress in the Sevastopol Drama Theater. Her theatrical journey continued in Vilnius, where she joined the Vilnius Russian Drama Theater from 1967 to 1991.

During her tenure at the Vilnius theater, Natalya played a wide range of diverse roles. Notable performances include Zhenya in "Valentin and Valentina" (1971), Irina in "Don't Part with Your Beloved" (1973), Iskra in "The Capercaillie's Nest" (1979), and Mary Tyrone in "Long Day's Journey into Night" (1988).

Film Career

Natalya's cinematic debut came with her critically acclaimed performance in the historical drama "Smiley on Us" (1978), directed by Algirdas Araminas.

Throughout her career, Natalya portrayed numerous characters on the big screen. Her notable film credits include Masha in "The Holy of Holies" by I. Druce, Serafina in "The Rose Tattoo" by T. Williams, Golubyova in "Alone with All" by A. Gelman, and Mimelli in "Tamada" by A. Galin.

Legacy
