Early Life and Education
Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1993, Oleg Ternovoy (known as Terry) grew up in a family with no connections to the world of art or entertainment. However, his parents encouraged his creative pursuits, and he aspired to become an actor from a young age.
After graduating high school, Terry considered pursuing a medical career. However, he eventually decided to enroll in the local theater institute, fulfilling his childhood dream.
Theatre and Musical Beginnings
During his university years, Terry honed his acting skills on stage. He joined the Academy of Russian Theater in Tashkent in 2016, where he appeared in several plays including "Provincial Anecdotes" and "The Government Inspector."
Concurrently, Terry developed his musical talents, participating in music competitions and training his vocals.
"Songs" Television Project
In 2018, Terry's passion for singing led him to participate in the popular reality television show "Songs" on TNT. He auditioned with his own song "Hype," impressing judges Timati and Maxim Fadeev with his technical prowess and stage presence.
Throughout the competition, Terry consistently delivered standout performances, earning him a spot in Team Timati and ultimately emerging as the winner.
Post-"Songs" Success
Terry's victory on "Songs" propelled him to national fame and landed him a coveted contract with Timati's music label, Black Star. His tracks "Domofon" and "Mega" topped the Russian iTunes charts, showcasing his musical talent and popularity.
Personal Life
Terry remains tight-lipped about his personal life, keeping his romantic relationships private. However, he is known for his handsome physique and charming personality, which have garnered him a large following of admirers.
Current Projects
Terry continues to make waves in the music industry. He collaborated with "Bachelor" star Yegor Creed on the hit song "Future Ex," which became a top-charting hit in Russia. Terry's current discography includes tracks such as "Hype," "Mercury," "Domofon," and "Future Ex."
