Thomas Calabro: Actor, Director, and Theater Company Member
Early Life and EducationThomas Calabro was born in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from high school, he attended Fordham University in New York City. It was there that he had a pivotal acting experience.
Acting Career
Calabro's acting debut came in a student production of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," where he took on the role of Oberon after Denzel Washington declined. He has appeared in numerous television series throughout his career, including "Dream Street," "Father Dowling Mysteries," "Law & Order," and "Burke's Law." He is best known for his role as Dr. Michael Mancini in the hit television series "Melrose Place," which ran from 1992 to 1999.
Directing and Theater
In addition to his acting, Calabro has also directed several episodes of "Melrose Place." He is a member of the esteemed Actor's Studio of New York and the Circle Repertory Lab theater companies.
Personal Life
Thomas Calabro was married to Elizabeth Pryor from 1993 to 2005. They have three children.
