Biography of Tina Karol

Early Life and Education

Tina Karol, whose real name is Tatyana Grigoryevna Liberman, was born in January 1985 in the snow-covered city of Magadan, Russia. Her parents, engineers Grigory Samuilovich Liberman and Svetlana Andreevna Zhuravel, lived in the town of Orotukan at the time. When Tina was seven years old, her family moved to Ivano-Frankivsk, a city in western Ukraine. She grew up and spent her childhood and teenage years in this beautiful Ukrainian city. Tina attended a general education school and also studied music at a music school, where she learned to play the piano and received vocal training. It was during this time that Tina realized her passion for music and her desire to become a famous singer.

Music Career

Tina Karol gained national recognition after participating in the popular song contest "New Wave" in 2005. Her powerful and explosive performance earned her second place in the competition, and she was also awarded a special prize by Russian pop star Alla Pugacheva. This recognition launched Tina's music career, and she quickly released her debut music video for the song "Vyshye oblakov" (Above the Clouds). The album containing the hit songs from this video achieved gold status.

However, tragedy struck when Yevgeny was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer. Despite undergoing treatments and seeking medical help both domestically and abroad, Yevgeny passed away in April 2013. Tina, devastated by the loss, embarked on a nationwide tour titled "The Power of Love and Voice" in memory of her husband.
